A MESSAGE TO OUR COMMUNITY AND SUPPORTERS

Since its beginning, Tales of Bells and Drums has been more than an event. It is a gathering where cultures meet, where the sound of the drum calls us not only to remember but also to stand together.

Organizing this work has demanded sacrifice due to obstacles placed in the way by Immigration policies, institutional processes, and community divisions. Yet, we continue because our path is not to complain, it is to remain steadfast, to endure with faith, and to take each step with humility and strength. Also, our tradition teaches us that suffering is not the end, but a passage through which truth is revealed. In the same way, each difficulty we face only makes us more determined to keep going because Tales of Bells and Drums is not built on comfort or ease, but on the conviction that culture has the power to heal, to unite, and to inspire.

We recognize that institutions may fail, policies may change, and people may make mistake, but, still, the drum continues to sound, calling us to serve not only ourselves, but our children, our community, and our Creator.

With patience, strength, and grace, we will keep gathering, celebrating, and lifting each other up as we raise our voices together.
